Absolutely LOVE this gem of a restaurant! Its truly personal and you feel like family when there. The atmosphere is hands down spectacular with all the original artwork. My now husband and I eat here every time we are in town and were lucky enough to have our wedding rehearsal dinner here as a private party! I wish they would bag and sell their homemade chips, they are AMAZING!

Neat ambiance with the owners paintings and I love supporting a small, family owned business.... The brunch was okay...bacon very undercooked, omelet was very runny and sausage tasted a bit off...french toast casserole was good. Maybe give it a try and see what you think.

Service was poor and food was less than mediocre. Sad because we were really looking forward to the meal. The waitress, while nice, had no help and whined to us the whole time. A family actually left because the service was so slow. :( Also, they claim to do organic, but we literally watched her poor orange juice from a concentrate jug. My eggs were awful, the ham was dry, the home fries were incredibly greasy. Never again. :(

Ummm what happened to this place? We go back for Lunch are you sure its the same place? Poor service Poor service .. And the food come on 20 minutes for a BLT? I know its not fast food but.. 20 minutes ? Bacon already cooked . I had a fish Ruben.. Terrible mush cold chips ... there was 4 people inside come on. It was not the same place the jury is still out not constant....

More like 3.5 stars. Atmosphere: Small Gallery Type Cafe (Sells the owners artwork displayed on the wall) I would call to make sure you have seating if you're going with a large party. Service: Server was good. Owner and the rest of the employees were pleasant. Drinks never went empty, gave us additional napkins without us asking. Food: Sunday Brunch. All you can eat/drink including mimosas, beer, wine, sangria, etc. All the food was good but not really amazing. The pollock was a little over cooked. The vegetarian and regular egg benedicts were okay, the hollandaise sauce was too buttery for my taste and needed more egg yolk. The deep dish french toast was good. Cost: $15 dollars for all you can eat and drink brunch is definitely fair if not cheap. Overall: I wouldn't mind going back but nothing I would crave.

Great fish & chips, which was their daily special! Menu looks great too & looking forward to returning for one of their sandwiches or salads. The homemade kettle chips & ranch dressing were really good! Family owned and run; super friendly!

This place is absolutely killer. I go here for Sunday brunch with my parents more often than my waistline can handle, and it's totally worth it every time. Brunch includes an expansive buffet as well as juice or coffee. If you come for brunch, do not leave without trying the egg strata or the pecan french toast. Or the muffins. Or the sausage gravy. Or really...all of it. Just take a giant plate of everything. I'm a huge breakfast fan, so I don't normally sample the "lunch" items from the buffet, but they always look fantastic. Everything is cooked fresh, including the eggs Benedict which comes free with the brunch (along with omelets). I recommend the vegetarian eggs Benedict just because it's different and delicious. Their coffee is fabulous and the atmosphere is stellar. Russel, the owner, does all of the art on the walls, making the cafe a true "gallery" and an absolute delight to have breakfast in!

This place was amazing! I went with my boyfriend, Alex, this morning. He got eggs, home fries, and toast, I got an amazing cup o' joe, and an omelet as big as my face! It had jalapenos, peppers and onions in it. Delicious! Our waitress, Linda, was awesome and made us feel right at home! We have found a new breakfast place! Alex asked if I would like to come back next Thursday for a weekly breakfast date, I said yes! My only regret was that I forgot my take away menu for the house... :)

I had Sunday brunch at the gallery cafe with a bunch of friends all of us from out of town and what a gem this place is! One of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere is friendly, the art on the walls is beautiful, the food is superb, and the customer service unparalleled. We had one vegan with us and the chef upon over hearing her plight made a special meal for her, the entire staff from waitress to owner were so kind, the chef even came out to see how or token vegan enjoyed her meal then gave us fantastic insider knowledge for or day of sightseeing. I can say without a doubt next time I'm I'm St. Augustine you'll find me at the gallery cafe!

Excellent! Great atmosphere, family owned. Fabulous artwork on the wall - talked to the artist about it - so talented. Food was delicious! Apparently I created a new menu item by asking then to add the grilled fish to the veggie sandwich. Amazing!! Must try!!! The cole slaw with sunflower seeds was also a big hit. Don't miss this little hole in the wall cafe!

Excellent atmosphere, owners are people-people, his artwork is hanging all over the cafe. Nice family owned place. Went for the Sunday brunch buffet, which was great. Included made-to-order omelets & eggs Benedict and beverages. All 4 of us loved it.

I was looking for a Sunday brunch at a reasonable price. The two upscale hotels I called in Ponte Vedra and Amelia Island no longer do a Sunday buffet. I called the Reef in St. Aug. but at $31.25/pp, deemed it too expensive. So I called The Gallery. The person who answered the phone, who was Linda, was so inviting and friendly over the phone we just had to go there. It is a small place with a small buffet. Linda and Russel treated me and my wife like family. Everything I tried on the buffet, except for the fish, was excellent. My wife also ordered the Eggs Benedict, freshly made and most excellent. I would recommend this small eatery very highly and if quality over quantity in a Sunday Brunch is for you, then try the Gallery Cafe. Two people = $30 tax included. $36 with tip.

If you are looking for a mom and pop place that serves home cooking, this is the place to come to. My husband and I were in town for the day to celebrate his birthday, and wanted to have breakfast before we went home. We each created our own omelette, all the ingredients were fresh. We also order a side of pancakes with blueberries. Next time I am in town I am going to have those pancakes! They were light, fluffy and just the right amount of blueberries, I ate my first piece without any syrup and it was YUMMY. This is a family business where they all work together to ensure your time is pleasant and your food is to your liking. If you are looking for a home cooked meal, this is the place the come to. We were able to met one of the owners, Russell, his artwork is displayed on the wall. The painting are wonderful, not only is he a great painter, but a person you would have a cup of coffee with. When in town we will be back. Thanks for a wonderful breakfast and a great way to start of my husbands birthday.
